Jefferies & Co. analyst Matthew G. McKay said that Intergraph Corp.'s (INGR) $1.3 billion buy out offer from an investment group undervalued the company. The stock price leaped $6.54 to close at $43.90.

Transocean Lands Chevron Contract

Transocean Inc. (RIG) secured an $862 million contract to build a drillship for Chevron Corp. (CVX). Shares of Transocean surged $4.33 to close at $71.08 while Chevron stock edged up 43 cents to close at $64.83.

Nam Tai Slashes Outlook

Nam Tai Electronics Inc. (NTE) slashed its third quarter and full-year sales outlook sending the stock price tumbling $3.56 to close at $11.43.
