Class Action Status Granted To Tobacco Suit

Shares of Altria Group Inc. (MO) plunged after a federal judge granted class action status to a lawsuit against tobacco companies for their marketing of light cigarettes as a safer alternative to regular cigarettes. Altria stock plummeted $5.26 to close at $77.06.
