Amazon.com's Earnings Surge

Amazon.com Inc.'s (AMZN) second quarter earnings surged to 19 cents per share from 5 cents per share in the year ago period beating expectations by 3 cents due to strong sales. The stock price leaped $16.93 to close at $86.18.
