Yankee Candle May Sell Itself

Second quarter earnings dropped for Yankee Candle Co. Inc. (YCC) to 12 cents per share from 19 cents per share a year earlier. However, the stock price surged $3.97 to close at $26.05 on news that the company is considering selling itself.
