Earnings Climb For AT&T

Strong growth from its wireless joint venture lifted second quarter earnings for AT&T Inc. (T) to 46 cents per share from 30 cents per share in the year ago period. Shares of the telecommunications company climbed $1.17 to close at $28.95.
