Airline Stocks Fall As Oil Rises

As oil prices briefly hit $70 a barrel, airline stocks tumbled. American Airlines parent company AMR Corp. (AMR) dropped $2.27 to close at $23.63 while shares of Continental Airlines Inc. (CAL) lost $2.95 to close at $24.42. JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU) fell 93 cents to $9.47.
