TiVo Awarded Nearly $74 Million

TiVo Inc. (TIVO) won nearly $74 million in a patent infringement lawsuit it brought against EchoStar Communications Corp. (DISH), parent company of Dish satellite. Shares of Tivo rose 60 cents to close at $8.65 while EchoStar stock edged up 7 cents to close at $30.04.
