Ford Surprises With First Profit In Two Years

Ford Motor Co. (F) surprised analysts by posting a second quarter profit of 31 cents per share compared with losses of 17 cents per share in the year ago period, the company's first profit in two year. Shares of the automaker rose 12 cents to close at $8.09.
