Forgent Loses Patent Suit

Forgent Networks Inc. (FORG) lost a patent infringement lawsuit the company filed against EchoStar Communications Corp. (DISH). Shares of Forgent plunged 34 cents to close at 93 cents while EchoStar stock tumbled $1.13 to close at $48.43.
