American Science & Engineering Reports Higher Earnings

American Science & Engineering Inc. (ASEI) reported higher fourth quarter earnings of 60 cents per share compared with 51 cents per share in the year ago period to surpass expectations and announced a stock repurchase plan. The stock price leaped $4.52 to close at $52.50.
