Mylan Earnings Surged

First quarter earnings for Mylan Laboratories Inc. (MYL) climbed to 35 cents from 16 cents per share in the year ago period prompting the generic drug maker to lift its full year forecast. The stock price gained $2.04 to close at $22.29.
