Children's Place Widens Losses

The Children's Place Retail Stores Inc. (PLCE) widened second quarter losses and warned that it may lose its license agreement with Walt Disney Co. (DIS). The retailer has not filed quarterly reports for the second and third quarters of 2006 and the first quarter of 2007. Shares of Children's Place plummeted $5.59 to close at $27.43 while Disney stock eased 41 cents to close at $33.16.
