Blue Coat Systems Inc. (BCSI) swung to a first quarter profit of 14 cents per share compared with losses of 22 cents per share a year earlier to beat expectations and provided second quarter outlook above estimates. Shares of the security hardware and software company leaped $17.46 to close at $77.31.
