PPD Lowers Outlook

Despite reporting higher second quarter earnings of 36 cents per share compared with 31 cents per share in the year ago period, Pharmaceutical Product Development Inc. (PPDI) lowered its full year outlook. The stock price plummeted $5.13 to $33.31.
