Earnings Drop For Advanced Energy

Advanced Energy Industries Inc. (AEIS) blamed higher research and development expenses for second quarter earnings that dropped to 25 cents per share from 40 cents per share in the year ago period. The stock price tumbled $3.87 to close at $19.27.
