Manitowoc's Earnings More Than Double

First quarter earnings for Manitowoc Co. (MTW) more than doubled to $1.01 per share from 48 cents per share in the year ago period surpassing expectations and prompting the company to lift its full year outlook. The stock price leaped $3.85 to close at $72.08.
