MEMC Downgraded

MEMC Electronic Materials Inc. (WFR) posted earnings that rose to 58 cents per share from 56 cents per share a year earlier but was downgraded by an analyst concerned about an oversupply of polysilicon. Shares of the semiconductor component maker plummeted $9.61 to close at $57.54.
