Tekelec Disappoints

Tekelec (TKLC) disappointed with first quarter losses of 25 cents per share compared with earnings of 24 cents per share a year earlier because of a steep drop in sales. Shares of the network switching systems maker tumbled $1.36 to close at $10.33.
