Energy Stocks Climb

As crude oil prices surged above $71 a barrel, shares of energy companies rose. The stock price of Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) climbed $1.62 to close at $58.69 while Peabody Energy Corp. (BTU) jumped $2.35 to close at $56.45.
