Xilinx Earnings Surge

Analysts upgraded Xilinx Inc. (XLNX) after the programmable chip maker reported fourth quarter earnings that surged to 32 cents per share from 19 cents per share in the year ago period. The stock price gained $1.67 to close at $28.24.
