Vodafone Discussing Sale of Japanese Unit

Vodafone Group PLC (VOD) acknowledged that the company is discussing the potential sale of its Japanese unit to Japanese technology investment firm Softbank. Shares of Vodafone climbed $1.32 to $21.00.
