Microsoft Reorganizes Unit

Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) announced a reorganization of its Windows division to jumpstart development of the company's consumer version of Windows to include more Internet based products. The stock price eased 30 cents to close at $26.85. Shares of Google Inc. (GOOG) gained $1.67 to close at $341.89 while Yahoo Inc. (YHOO) stock rose $1.08 to close at $31.83. Both are developing free Web based products to compete against Microsoft.
