Scholastic Widens Losses

Scholastic Corp. (SCHL) disappointed with third quarter losses that widened to 37 cents per share from losses of 2 cents per share in the year ago period. The children's book publisher also cut its current quarter outlook and warned that full year results would miss expectations. The stock price plunged $3.38 to close at $26.04.
