Micron Snaps Up Lexar

Micron Technology (MU) is buying Lexar Media (LEXR) for nearly $700 million in stock in order to expand its flash memory business. Lexar shares surged $1.36 to $8.45 while Micron shares eased 36 cents to $14.62.
