Gold Prices Plunge

As the price of gold continued to plummet, shares of gold mining stocks fell with Newmont Mining Corp. (NEM) easing 25 cents to close at $49.57. Shares of Goldcorp Inc. (GG) tumbled $1.51 to close at $25.55 while Harmony Gold Mining Co. Ltd. (HMY) stock slipped 43 cents to close at $12.82.
