SumTotal Falls Short

SumTotal Systems Inc. (SUMT) narrowed second quarter losses to 5 cents per share from 9 cents per share a year earlier but still fell short of expectations and forecast disappointing full year results. Shares of the software maker tumbled $1.84 to close at $5.90.
