Coldwater Creek Disappoints

Second quarter earnings for Coldwater Creek Inc. (CWTR) tumbled to 9 cents per share from 13 cents per share in the year ago period falling 3 cents short of expectations as sales fell. The women's clothing retailer warned of a challenging third quarter sending the stock price plummeting $4.51 to close at $12.88.
