Energizer To Acquire Playtex

Playtex Products Inc. (PYX) will be acquired by Energizer Holdings Inc. (ENR) for approximately $1.16 billion. Shares of Playtex surged $2.45 to close at $17.97 while Energizer stock added 94 cents to close at $107.67.
