Foster Wheeler Reports Higher Earnings

A surge in revenue lifted first quarter earnings for Foster Wheeler Ltd. (FWLT) to $1.60 per share compared with a loss of 8 cents per share in the year ago period. Shares of the engineering and construction services company leaped $14.60 to close at $87.75.
