Archstone-Smith To Be Acquired

Tishman Speyer and Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (LEH) will acquire Archstone-Smith Trust (ASN) for approximately $22.2 billion. Shares of Archstone-Smith leaped $6.19 to close at $61.42 while Lehman Bros. stock edged up 15 cents to close at $72.91.
