Magma Settles Dispute With Synopsys

Magma Design Automation Inc. (LAVA) will pay $12.5 million to Synopsys Inc. (SNPS) to settle a patent dispute. Shares of Magma climbed $1.74 to close at $11.96 while Synopsys stock edged up 12 cents to close at $26.23.
