Sirius And XM Satellite To Merge

Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. (SIRI) and XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (XMSR) announced a merger of near equals subject to federal regulatory approval. Shares of Sirius added 22 cents to close at $3.92 while XM stock surged $1.43 to close at $15.41.
