Nvidia To Buy PortalPlayer
Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) announced a $357 million deal to buy portal device chip maker PortalPlayer Inc. (PLAY). Shares of Nvidia rose 99 cents to close at $33.59 while PortalPlayer stock eased a penny to close at $13.35.
