The FDA refused to approve Replidyne Inc. (RDYN) and Forest Laboratories Inc.'s (FRX) antibiotic faropenem medoxomil sending shares of Replidyne plummeting $4.65 to close at $5.59. Forest stock tumbled $2.93 to close at $48.54.
