Horizon Health Disappoints

Horizon Health Corp. (HORC) missed expectations by 6 cents to report third quarter earnings of 24 cents per share compared with 24 cents per share a year earlier. The healthcare services provider also slashed its earnings forecast for fiscal 2006 and 2007 sending the stock price plunging $6.46 to close at $13.83.
