Sears Swings To Profit

Sears Holdings Corp. (SHLD) impressed with first quarter earnings of $1.14 per share compared with losses of 7 cents per share in the year ago period due to lower expenses. The results beat expectations by 49 cents sending the stock price soaring $17.89 to close at $155.85.
