Synaptics May Supply Track Wheels For iPods

Rumors that Synaptics Inc. (SYNA) secured a contract with Apple Computer Inc. (AAPL) to provide track wheels for the next generation iPods sent the stock price up $1.02 to close at $25.22. Shares of Apple slipped 68 cents to close at $67.99.
