Laidlaw International Disappoints

Laidlaw International (LI) disappointed with earnings that fell 5 cents short of expectations. The bus transport line operator reported second quarter earnings that dropped to 34 cents per share from $2.28 per share a year earlier sending the stock price tumbling $2.28 to close at $26.10.
