Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (BBBY) beat expectations by 2 cents to report fourth quarter earning of 67 cents per share, up from 59 cents per share in the year ago period, and lifted its fiscal 2006 outlook. Shares of the domestic retailer surged $2.50 to close at $40.82.
