Cel-Sci Files Bird Flu Patent

Shares of Novavax Inc. (NVAX) tumbled $1.42 to close at $6.20 after rival Cel-Sci Corp. (CVM) applied for a patent for its CEL-1000 Avian flu prevention and treatment medication. Cel-Sci stock shot up 91 cents to close at $1.73.
