PerkinElmer To Acquire ViaCell
PerkinElmer Inc. (PKI) will pay $300 million to acquire ViaCell Inc. (VIAC). Shares of PerkinElmer fell 95 cents to close at $28.91 while ViaCell stock leaped $2.41 to close at $7.18.
