Costco Earnings Rise

Fourth quarter earnings rose to 83 cents per share from 75 cents per share in the year ago period to beat expectations for Costco Wholesale Corp. (COST) as sales increased. Shares of the warehouse club retailer surged $5.82 to close at $69.13.
