Amazon Impresses

Online retail giant Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) lived up to its name by reporting earnings that more than doubled to 26 cents per share from 12 cents per share a year earlier, beating estimates by an impressive 11 cents. The stock price leaped $12.06 to close at $56.81.
