UnitedHealth To Acquire Sierra Health

Sierra Health Services Inc. (SIE) will be acquired by UnitedHealth Group Inc. (UNH) for approximately $2.6 billion in cash. Shares of Sierra jumped $5.67 to close at $41.57 while UnitedHealth stock edged up 27 cents to close at $53.27.
