PHH To Be Acquired

PHH Corp. (PHH) will be acquired by GE Capital Solutions, a unit of General Electric Co. (GE), for approximately $1.8 billion. Shares of PHH surged $3.29 to close at $31.10 while GE stock edged up 21 cents to close at $34.52.
