Judge Rules Against Star Scientific

A judge ruled against Star Scientific Inc. (STSI) in the company's patent infringement lawsuit against R. J. Reynolds. Star Scientific stock lost 54 cents to close at $1.16 while shares of Reynolds American Inc. (RAI), parent company of R. J. Reynolds, rose 52 cents to close at $64.28.
