Earnings Rise For Phillips-Van Heusen

Phillips-Van Heusen Corp. (PVH) reported higher third quarter earnings of 89 cents per share compared with 73 cents per share a year earlier that surpassed expectations by 5 cents. The stock price soared $3.69 to close at $50.81.
