DuPont To Use Corn Sugar Instead Of Petroleum

Beginning in 2007, DuPont Co. (DD) will begin using corn sugar instead of petroleum in the manufacturing process of new high performance resins and elastomer products. The switch will save the company approximately 10 million gallons of gasoline each year. The stock price lost $1.16 to close at $40.88.
