Although PDL BioPharma Inc. (PDLI) narrowed first quarter losses to 23 cents per share from losses of 87 cents per share in the year ago period, the results fell short of expectations prompting the biotechnology firm to reduce its revenue forecast. The stock price plunged $7.59 to $20.00.
