Entercom Beats Expectations

Although first quarter income for Entercom Communications Corp. (ETM) plunged to 19 cents per share from 34 cents per share a year earlier, the results beat expectations by 5 cents. Shares of the radio broadcasting company climbed $2.31 to close at $29.93.
